Azad Kitchen is a Pakistani fusion restaurant in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. It was started by Muhammad Saud, a talented chef and restauranteur who runs a Pakistani restaurant called Alif Cafe in Upstate New York.

Azad Cafe had limited service in its trial location — only 3 nights a week for dinner. Menu was pre-fixed and changed every month. Because it was a limited-run popup, it was hard to get reservations. But luckily I managed and this video shows you the whole incredible experience!

The amazing dishes on the menu included:

– Papree Chat

– Dahi Balle

– Nihari

– Bhindi

– Naan

– Dragonfruit Lassi

– Tonic Aam

– Gulab Jamun Doughnut

– Brown Sugar Cardamom Tea

Their permanent location is opening soon and I’m so excited!
