Suresh Pillai, commonly known as Chef Pillai, is an Indian-born British chef and restaurateur. He worked as chef de partiesous-chef, and chef de cuisine at various restaurants in London for 14 years, including Veeraswamy and Gymkhana. He holds British citizenship. In 2017, he contested in the British reality TV show MasterChef: The Professionals on BBC Two. He returned to India to become the corporate chef and culinary director of The Raviz. He also started his own restaurant chain branded Restaurant Chef Pillai.

Chetna Makan was born in Jabalpur, an ancient city in central India. She has a degree in fashion and worked in Mumbai as a fashion designer before moving to the UK in 2003. Chetna reached the semi-final of The Great British Bake Off in 2014, and her first book, The Cardamom Trail, is a celebration of baking with Indian flavors. She has a very popular YouTube channel ‘Food with Chetna’ where she shares her creative flair for food. Maneet Chauhan is an Indian American chef and television personality. Previously the executive chef of several notable restaurants in Chicago, Nashville, and New York, she is featured as a judge on Chopped on the Food Network. She has appeared on The Next Iron Chef, on The View on ABC, Iron Chef America, the Today show on NBC, and as a judge on the finale of Worst Cooks in America on Food Network. She has also won the 2021 Food Network competition Tournament of Champions.

Roni’s philosophy of business is continually met with a mind for philanthropy and community. He’s involved with Accion, one of the leading global nonprofits; and contributed a dish to Leyla Moushabeck’s The Immigrant Cookbook. Roni **is part of City Harvest’s Food Council helping spread awareness of the organization’s mission of raising funds in donating high quality food to help feed hungry New Yorkers, and No Kid Hungry whose mission is to end childhood hunger.

Madhura Bachal is a pioneer of Maharashtrian cuisine in the digital world. The young woman took a leap of faith back in 2009 when she started the very first YouTube channel dedicated to Maharashtrian cuisine. Over the years, Madhura has gained a following of over 4 million subscribers on her Marathi YouTube channel alone. Across different platforms, over 7 million people follow Madhurasrecipe. Madhurasrecipe was the first Marathi YouTube channel to have crossed 4 million subscribers. This channel boasts of over 3,000 unique recipes with cumulative millions of views. While these recipes are largely Maharashtrian, Madhura has mastered almost any dish you can imagine, from international cuisine to desi street food.

As founder, owner and culinary director of Vermilion, Rohini oversees the operations and culinary evolution of her restaurants and leads both her kitchen teams. She also writes a series on restaurants “From the Gut” for Chicago Sun Times and Huffington Post.

Since inception, Vermilion has been acclaimed as “Best New Restaurant” by Chicago Magazine, Travel & Leisure, Town & Country, USA Today, Bon Appetit, Wine Enthusiast, 3 stars Tribune among others.
